37-year-old Matt Nathanson is originally from Lexington, Massachusetts, now living in San Fransisco, California and has been making albums since 1993 with his first album release titled: Please, but has been singing longer than that. He's recorded six albums so far, with a new one to be release in 2011. That date has not been released. Though, via Matt's Twitter, the last of the mixes are done. So it should be soon before we get more info about the release date.

Most people who are familiar with any of Matt's songs might know his hit Come On Get Higher which has been played on radio stations and featured in shows since its release in 2008. Sugarland have performed their own cover of the song and even have a recording on it for their Deluxe Fan Edition of Love On The Inside.

i first heard matt's song All we are on NCIS and that began my one sided love affair with him. since, i have seen him 3x in concert, with a 4th this spring when he opens for sugarland. i've also gotten a matt tattoo on my wrist. i <3 this man.
