"All We Are" by Matt Nathanson | The Vampire Diaries 1x04 "Family Ties"
This episode is from last season, but to get things started and kind of explain how things are going to work, I'm going to start with someone I'm familiar with that most people are probably not too aware of.
The song featured in this episode of The Vampire Diaries is call All We Are from Matt Nathanson's latest album Some Mad Hope. The scene where two of the main leads, Stefan Salvatore and Elena Gilbert, being dancing at the party and discuss business involving Stefan's brother Damon Salvatore.
37-year-old Matt Nathanson is originally from Lexington, Massachusetts, now living in San Fransisco, California and has been making albums since 1993 with his first album release titled: Please, but has been singing longer than that. He's recorded six albums so far, with a new one to be release in 2011. That date has not been released. Though, via Matt's Twitter, the last of the mixes are done. So it should be soon before we get more info about the release date.
