Ry Cuming "Always Remember Me" | Private Practice 4x17 "A Step Too Far"

Hearing Always Remember Me, which features Sara Bareilles, during the end of this week's Private Practice was a good feeling. It was one of those "I've heard this!" moments, and I had to google the lyrics before I remembered where I had heard it before.

I had first heard it before getting ready for my school's big fall concert because there was this one artist, named Ry Cuming, who was going to perform and I wanted to get to know him and his music a little bit more. His style of music is definitely my preferred listening genre. But sadly, he ended up not performing at that concert, which kind of upset me because I was really looking forward to seeing him perform.

Ry Cuming grew up in Australia, and was discovered in Costa Rica by a film producer from Los Angeles. He's won Best Pop Song and Best New Artist at Australia's Dolphin Awards.

He currently only has his self-titled debut album out now. You can purchase it on iTunes or through his official site.

Home was featured in One Tree Hill and Some Kind of Love was featured in So You Think You Can Dance Auditions in season 7.

Hey Monday "Candles" | Glee 2x16 "Original Songs"

Not many shows for me this week, so I'm going to talk about another song from Glee this week.

It was Regionals for the Glee kids. And one of the competitors, the Dalton Academy Warblers, performed the song Candles from "Hey Monday."

Glee Version | Hey Monday (New) Version

From Palm Beach, FL, this four-member band has been playing since 2008 with their first single Homecoming. They currently only have one album out titled "Hold On Tight." Homecoming, How You Love Me Now, and Run, Don't Walk were featured on The Hills. I Don't Want to Dance was featured in Hellcats.

Candles was on their "Hold On Tight" album, but recently they've re-done the track and came out with an EP for it in February. You can hear the old version here.

Neon Trees "Animal" | Glee 2x15 "Sexy"

Not that many new shows this week, and the ones that were new didn't have any music sadly. So this week's entry is going to focus on one of the songs that Glee preformed this week.

I was supposed to see them in concert when they were scheduled to open up for 30 Seconds to Mars, but because Mars had to push the dates back, Neon Trees was unable to perform at the concert I attended.

Animal was performed by the characters Blaine Anderson and Kurt Hummel and the Dalton Warblers on the episode of Glee titled "Sexy." The thing about their version is the all-men group sings their songs acapella with only a drum backup.
